When managing promo codes, you can perform actions such as Expire, Download, Change active dates, and more. This article will guide you through performing these actions.
From the left navigation menu, select [Engage] → Content → Promo Codes.
Use the filters to find specific resources. Refer to the Filter reference table below.

Description
Search bar
Optionally, use the search bar to find a promo code by Name.
Partner
Select Partner to filter for promo code applicable to a specific partner.
Code Schedule
All: View promo codes in all statuses.
Pending Promo Codes: Promo codes which have been created but have started yet.
Active Promo Codes: Promo codes that are currently Active.
Expired Promo Codes: Promo codes which were previously Active and have now Expired.
Deal
Select Deal to filter promo codes by a specific deal.
Code Type
Select Code Type to filter promo codes by a specific code type.
All: Promo codes in all code types.
Tracking Codes: Promo codes that are tracking-specific.
Restricted Codes: Promo codes that are restricted.
[More]
Select [More] to filter by Credit Policy or Match Type.
Credit Policy: Determines when a partner or media source gets credit for a conversion when a promo code is used.
Match Type: How strictly the promo code must match in order for the partner to earn credit for the conversion.
Hover over the promo code you want to action, and select the [Unchecked box] in the left-hand corner to perform various actions. Then select More actions and choose a desired action from the list below:
Optionally, select Apply Deal to incorporate a deal from the [Drop-down menu].

Use case
Expire
Used to expire an Active promo code.
Reactivate
Used to activate an Expired promo code.
Download
Used to generate a CSV file with details about the selected promo codes, including the code, description, dates, usage limits, status, and discount type, for all promo codes in any status.
Change active dates
Used to change the dates a promo code is set to be active.
Select Change activate dates.
Choose the date which the promo code will be active and expired.
Select OK to confirm this duration adjustment.
Side effects include:
Promo codes in an Active status change to Pending if the new dates are in the future.
Promo codes in a Pending status change to Active if the dates overlap with today.
Promo codes in an Expired status change to Pending if the new dates are in the future.
Select [Columns] on the right of the screen to add or remove columns from the table.

Column
Description
Promo Code
The name of the promo code.
Type
The type of promo code (e.g Tracking Codes or Restricted Codes).
Media
The media source for the promo code.
Deal
The deal type associated with the promo code.
Match Mode
Exact Match: The promo code matches exactly, no variations allowed for the partner to get credit.
Regex Match: Patterns were used to match the promo code, allowing for more flexibility in what counted as a match.
Credit Rule
Always Credit: Promo code always gets credit.
Credit If Involved: Promo code only gets credit if the partner drove clicks.
Credit If Winner: Promo code only gets credit if the partner drove the winning click.
Status
The current status of the promo code.
Date Assigned
The date the promo code was created.
Scheduled Dates
The dates the promo code is set to Activate and Expire.
