Blocking & Redirect / Routing Rules & Deferred Deep Linking

Configure Blocking & Redirect / Routing Rules

impact.com supports custom routing rules, which you can use to redirect or block certain types of traffic from seeing your ads.

  1. From the left navigation menu, select ellipsis-v-solid.svg [Menu] → Settings.

  2. In the right column, scroll to Technical and select Blocking & Redirect.

    • The Blocking/Redirect screen shows any existing rules you’ve configured, along with options to create new ones.

    • For details on how to create and edit routing rules, see Blocking & Redirect Rules.

Deferred deep linking

Deferred deep linking can be used to deep link users into your app even when they haven’t installed it yet. When a user clicks through an ad that had deferred deep linking set up and the user does not have your app installed, they will be prompted to go to their app store to install the app. If they choose to do so, they will be automatically directed to that deep linked page from the ad.

Impact natively supports deferred deep linking if you utilize TrueLink instead of a third-party MMP (though you can still utilize deferred deep linking even if you do not use TrueLink). Learn how to set up ads with deferred deep linking.
