Finance Benchmark Partner Analysis

The Finance Benchmark Partner Analysis report shows you how your partners have performed in terms of clicks, actions, revenue, and payout over the selected quarter and rank them according to how they’ve performed for your program vs your peers. The report also shows gaps and opportunities in your program where growth is available and where you may have over-or under-indexed in different performance metrics.

  1. From the left navigation menu, select [Insights] [Competitive Insights] → Benchmarking → Finance Benchmark Partner Analysis.

  2. At the top of the page, below Finance Benchmark Partner Analysis, filter for the data you want to view.

    Description

    Quarter

    Filter by the specific 3-month period for which you want to view benchmarking data.

    Program

    Filter by the program for which you want to view benchmarking data.

    Region

    Filter by the area for which you want to view benchmarking data.

    Vertical

    Filter by the market segment for which you want to view benchmarking data.

    Funnel Stage

    Select whether you want to view the top or bottom of the funnel.

    • Initial Action limits the data to partners who introduce the potential customer to the conversion journey. At this point, money has not generally been exchanged and any payouts granted to the partner will be relatively small.

    • Final Action limits the data to partners who are achieving your desired end goal. Generally, this involves the exchange of money, e.g., funds deposited into an account or a loan or credit card issued. Payouts to a partner are generally expected to be larger.

    Note: App downloads are often tracked for categories like Banking and Credit Services. While app downloads can be a payable event, they are considered separate from the primary conversion funnel of Initial to Final actions.

  3. View a breakdown of your vertical insights:

    Segment ranking of top revenue-contributing partners

    View your top revenue-contributing partners, along with their business model, actions driven during your selected quarter, and total payout during the quarter. You can also view their rank within your program compared with their general performance in your market segment.

    Rank differences

    The rank difference can indicate opportunities to work more closely with your partners or reveal partners who are performing better for your brand than for the segment.

    Noah Lott Tutors has a program rank of 2—they're your second highest performing partner. Their rank in your segment is 26. The rank difference of 24 shows that they are performing significantly better for you than for the overall segment.

  4. Optionally, you can email or download the analyses using the buttons at the top-right of the report.
