  2. Under the Profile section, select Media Properties.

  3. In the top right corner, select Create Media Property → Website.

  4. In the pop-up that follows, you can choose to add your website via Google Analytics (the data fields will fill automatically) or manually.

Note: If you choose to add your website property via Google Analytics, there is no need to still Verify your website because the media property will be verified automatically. Note, however, that you cannot use Google Analytics as a verification method for a preexisting media property.

  5. To add a website manually, you will need to complete all fields with information about your site:

    Website Name

Provide the name of your website — this will appear in the Name column when viewing the Media Properties screen.

    Domain

Provide the full URL that links to your website.

    Description

Provide a description (i.e., an "elevator pitch") of your website, limited to 1000 characters, including spaces.

    Screenshot

Select Choose File to upload a full-sized screenshot (wider than 800 pixels) of your website's landing page.

  6. Select Save to add your website to the media properties table.

Alternatively, copy the Stat Tag and place it within the <head> section of your site. The Stat Tag is a small JavaScript snippet that you can place on your site that can both verify your media property and automatically turn regular links on your site into impact.com partner links. Unable to verify?

If you’re unable to verify via any of the above methods, leave a detailed message explaining why that is and how we can verify that you own the media property, then select Submit Reason.
